Things People Ask Us

How long does a standard battery service take?
Most battery replacements are completed on the same day or the following morning. If we find that the seals also need attention — which we always check as a matter of course — we will let you know before proceeding and may hold the piece for a second day to allow for a proper water-resistance check.
My watch has not been serviced in many years. Is it too late to have it overhauled?
Rarely too late. The more pressing question is whether dried lubricants or worn parts have caused secondary wear inside the movement. We examine the movement before giving an opinion and will let you know honestly what we find. Sometimes a full overhaul recovers a watch that appears to have stopped running reliably; other times, parts need attention first.
Do you work on both quartz and mechanical watches?
Yes. Our everyday care service covers quartz watches, while our full mechanical servicing is designed for automatic and hand-wound movements. We are also comfortable with older movements, pocket watches, and sentimental pieces that do not fall neatly into a modern category.
How much will a vintage restoration cost?
Vintage and heirloom work is scoped individually because no two pieces present the same challenges. Our starting price for this service is RM 4,480, but the final figure depends on the condition of the movement, dial, case, and whether any parts need to be sourced. We prepare a detailed plan before any work begins and communicate any changes to that plan as they arise.
Can I leave my watch without an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome during workshop hours. For vintage or heirloom pieces, or if you have specific questions you would like to discuss in detail, calling or messaging ahead helps us ensure we have the time to sit with you properly on arrival.
What information do you keep about my watch and my contact details?
We maintain a workshop record for each piece we service — the work carried out, parts used, and the timing figures noted at collection. Your contact details are stored only for the purpose of reaching you about the piece and are not shared with outside parties. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
